Another Pound Weight Loss

My weigh day is Sunday so this morning i weighed myself.  According to my scales I've lost another pound in weight which is good as my BMI is coming down which makes me more healthier.

I think what i'll do is post a photo of how i looked before the yeast free diet and then at the end of the year.  I'll have to trawl through photos now to see what i have that were taken in December.

On The Yeast Diet Facebook page  someone commented on one of my posts not being Carbohydrate free and asked why or if i do or don't do this.  I only follow the advice I've been given either by experts or what i find on the web and this works for me.  I don't really get effected by carbohydrates but i do eat gluten free pasta's etc due to the diet restrictions of this in my house so maybe this is why?  I do also eat pasta that is made from vegetables on occasions also.  I am cutting down the amount of white potato i have and I'm currently replacing them with red potato and sweet potato that is said to be OK on a yeast free diet.   The only thing i can suggest is that those of you following a yeast free diet try carbohydrates and if they effect you i.e. your symptoms come back then cut these out of your diet or don't have them at all.

I have always said I'm not an expert and I'm still learning myself.  I think the rules to the illumination of yeast is trial and error.  Read all you can on the Internet or resources in your local library or shops and find out what works for you.  You will come across conflicting information but i make reference a lot to The Yeast Diet as for me this is the best website I've come across and it really has helped me to stay on track and actually believe i can be yeast free.

My blog is about my trials and triumphs which means i will make mistakes, maybe I'll fall off track from time to time who knows i'm human.  It's about real life being yeast free, living around people that eat what they want and the struggles for people to understand the problems yeast brings.  My blog is a kind of diary so lots of future posts may just be about me and my life and how being yeast free has made me more energetic and less depressed and irritable, who knows anything will go.  It's a year in my life and yours so please comment.

I have currently 712 hits reading my blog so come and follow me too by clicking the 'follow me' link on the right hand side of the home page as you will get automatic updates.  You can also follow me via Twitter .

For me the major and most important thing is cutting out alcohol or else it's a waste of time.  You may be able to add this back into your diet from time to time but i'm certainly not having any for at least 3 months and i may only have alcohol when i'm out with friends and this will be in moderation.  I may not have any at all as i love going out and not getting up in the morning feeling rubbish.  I love feeling the way i feel right now and don't ever want to go back to feeling like sh*t.

So lets see how my life progresses Yeast Free!
