YAAAYYYYY It's Friday!!!

Hello everyone!

It's Friday!!!! The best day fo the week, well other than Saturday and Sunday and only if you are lucky enough to have the weekends off work like i am.  Weekends are family time and i try and do as much as i can with my children. I'm trying to grab as much time with my 16 year old son whilst i can as he's growing up so quickly and before i know it he'll be an adult and doing his own thing.  He is sitting his GCSE's this year up until June and he already has his Prom invite.  I love watching my children blossom it's the most exciting thing that a parent see's but it's also the scariest to.  I live in a part of the country that is very mixed socially and i guess there is a lot of social deprivation therefore a high crime rate so i worry every time one of my children step out of the door and they're not with me.  I think it makes it worse doing the job i do as i support a lot of young people in finding homes but i also know what kind of a world we live in because of it and sometimes i wish i lived in a bubble.

On a brighter note i got back on track this week but it's been a little bit of a struggle and i worked out why...PMS!!!!!  I have to say though it's not been as bad as it usually is so I'm grateful for that as a week before I'm the psycho bitch from hell!  Well...okay maybe not as bad as  wielding a knife with the sound of the psycho music in the background but I'm irritable, erratic Witch that i know i must be hard to live with for seven days before but my children just say, 'ah Mum, you're grumpy this week aren't you'? So they still love me and they understand.  My poor Dad had four of us so every week of the month must of been hell on earth! LOL

Last night i went to my neighbours after a busy few hours at parents evening at school to catch up on how my Daughter is progressing, thankfully everything is positive and i have two children who are great at Math! Who they got that from I'll never know as it certainly wasn't me!  My lovely neighbour had a spa evening and we all enjoyed some luxury skin care and we had the chance to test them on ourselves by giving ourselves a facial...pure bliss.  I ordered some cleanser, toner and a moisturiser and a mask and spent more money than i really wanted to but i thought what the hell i never ever treat myself to skincare! There was no alcohol but nibbles were on the menu so i passed on them graciously. I had thoroughly lovely evening.
